HKFM: Gourmet Food Truck Bazaar.

I don’t go to Hell’s Kitchen a lot. I’m not quite sure why, but I just don’t seem to manage to make my way there often. So I decided to head out to the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market. But not on just any day- on their Gourmet Food Truck Bazaar (it takes place every second Sunday through October)!

I love food trucks. I love flea markets. It just seemed like the perfect way to spend my Sunday…and once I read the names of the featured trucks, I knew I had to go: Coolhaus, Milk Truck Grilled Cheese, Cupcake Crew, Frites ‘N’ Meats, Kimchi Taco, and The Crepes Truck!

But on my way to Hell’s Kitchen I ran into something…the Puerto Rican pride parade. So I snapped a couple shots and headed on my way…

And now the flea market…

Photobucket It’s 90 degrees and I got a sunburn, but let’s sell some fur coats!
Photobucket The Milk Truck…
Photobucket where I ate an amazing “Milk Truck Classic” grilled cheese!
Photobucket I really wanted a crepe, but it was just too hot out.
Photobucket There was no one at the cupcake truck, so I decided I wouldn’t be the first to try!
Photobucket So I went to Cool Haus, mainly because the guy in the red shirt told me that I had to try it, that I “wasn’t living” if I didn’t try it. So I took his word…
PhotobucketThey have an incredible list of options (click to enlarge)- yes that one says Chicken!
Photobucket I had the chocolate chocolate cookie with Guinness chip ice cream. It was amazing, but also quite a mess.

The food trucks were amazing and there were some pretty neat things to look at in the flea market as well. I will definitely make this a repeat occurrence.

Oh…and then I saw this on my walk home…
