There are two important events coming up in Knoxville and I really wanted to share them with you! They are both very special to me for very different ways. But both help support local artists and that is something very very important to me! So please, attend these events, spread the word, and let me know of any events that are important to you.

First, Knoxville Fashion Week, February 29-March 3. I am so excited to be a part of this event. Not only will it be show casing a bunch of amazing Knoxville talents, but it also takes place downtown. Which is my favorite place and has been growing so much lately, I want you to come see for yourself! While it is a bit expensive, I still think you should attend. I love fashion and cannot wait. At least try to attend one of the events! The last day for the finale runway and some awesome treats, including but not limited to: free blowouts and makeup application from Pure Luxe, the children’s runway, and the finale event at Harley Davidson off Lovell Road featuring Knoxville gem (and now NYCer) Diana Warner and designer Donovan Swick. Plus, if you come you will probably see me running around!

Secondly, Self Evident Truths’ Speak out for Equality Event, March 11-13. This is the second event and I am so excited to have been a part of such a great thing! I was lucky enough to be the designer for this event, I first designed the posters for event one back in October, but was excited to see my second set of designs featured on the newsletter that has gone out! We will be bringing in the amazing NYC photographer iO Tillet Wright to photograph the event that is based around bringing equality to everyone, no matter their sexual preferences. I am incredibly excited! iO will also be speaking at Clarence Brown Theatre (let me know if you want to know the exact date and time) but you should check it out. She is incredible!
